performance pathway
NTA’s primary challenge is to get players on to the performance pathway as soon as possible. We know how vital it is that young players transition on to a regular training programme that offers the hours required to unlock their potential, support their development and nurture their improvement.
If you have performance ambitions then there is no substitute for hours on court and early development of the technical and tactical skills you will need to succeed in the long term. However, we also appreciate the importance of a well-balanced young person both mentally and physically so still encourage their participation in other activities and team sports. The need to specialise more in tennis comes later and you will guided by us with this.
A tennis journey
A player on our performance pathway should emerge at 18yrs old having enjoyed their tennis journey with us but above all be fully equipped and prepared for the challenges of a playing career in tennis, other jobs within our sport or the life skills to succeed in their chosen path.
Please take a look at the testimonials provided by our ex and current players who have used their time with us as a foundation to then progress into the wider world of performance tennis.
