After attending the Northumberland Tennis Academy as a player and completing the LTAs AASE scheme, Adam first became involved in coaching in 2008. Having worked in both an academy and club environment, he has gained valuable experience in both development and performance coaching.
Adam’s passion for working with high level players was ignited once he joined the academy, and he has thoroughly enjoyed working with national and international level players from U10 to adult. He feels the environment we try and create for the players at the academy is encouraging, but also one where hard work and dedication are highly valued.
Adam’s favourite part of working in a performance environment is helping players achieve their potential both on and off the court, believing that as a coach he has a responsibility to not only develop players tennis skills but also help them develop into well rounded individuals off the court.
Amongst working with multiple high level competing juniors, career highlights so far for Adam include captaining a national title winning boys team and working with a player who has achieved a WTA ranking and plays on a world stage.
